Is seeking three lasterers. Start date as soon as possible.

Salary $25.00 / hour. 35 hours per week. (Full-time, permanent)

Requirements:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Be able to communicate in English (oral and written)

Experience not required but is an asset

Requirements:

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
• Clean and prepare surfaces
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces
• Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat
• Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Tape over joints
• Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
• Erect and install scaffolding and other working platforms
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim
• Estimate costs and materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Further requirements:

Ability to work outdoors and at heights and lift up to 50 lbs
