Food Service Supervisor
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff by scheduling and assigning duties
• Ensure standards of food quality, presentation and operations are met
• Record inventories, sales, wastes and write-ups of any issues and be prepared to report to manager if necessary
• Be thoroughly knowledgeable and available to answer any questions regarding the restaurant’s specific dishes or menus
• Monitor and maintain records of stock, sales, repairs and wastage for modifying procedures and estimating costs for efficient and profitable operation
• Prepare order summaries and reports
• Train new servers/attendants in their duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Requirements:
• 1+ years’ experience
• Completion of secondary school
• Excellent communication, teamwork and people skills
• Proficiency in POS systems; familiar with software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Well-organized, able to multi-task and self-motivated
