Reporting to the District Manager, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a single restaurant (10-45 employees) while ensuring delivery of quality food and guest satisfaction, accountable for maximizing sales and profitability while maintaining QSC standards, implementing all corporate policies and procedures, ensuring training and development of management and crew, and achieving desired restaurant outcomes as directed by the business or as assigned by management.

Salary: $45,000 anually

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the food service sector, including management experience

Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, MS office

Point of sale system is an asset.Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight Deadlines; Attention to detail; Repetitive tasks; Occasionally lift, move, carry and stack cartons up to 50 pounds from various heights to/from shelves; Standing and walking for long periods of time without frequent rest periods (duration of shift); Occasionally climb on stools or ladders and reach for items located on shelves and occasional climbing required for roof inspection. Required frequent motions of bending, wiping, sweeping, mopping, wrapping, and squeezing. Frequent exposure to fluctuating temperatures in areas such as cooler, freezer and cooking stations of restaurants.

Job requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Direct efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximise guest satisfaction
  • Ensures preventive maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with company standards.
  • Enforce compliance with government regulations, Redberry market policy, employment laws, food safety, Redberry security policy, operations and Redberry policies and procedures leading to all restaurant activities across shifts.
  • Leads restaurant management team recruiting, selecting, hiring and retaining effective team talent.
  • Maintains inventory, manages labour and applies financial reporting analysis to enhance restaurant results.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to team members, supervisors, assistant managers.
  • Motivates and directs team members to exceed customer expectations with fast and friendly service in clean surroundings.
  • Assumes full responsibility for restaurant profit and loss management by implementing marketing strategies and follows cash control/security procedures.
  • Provide customer service
