The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining the company's financial records and preparing financial reports. This includes tasks such as recording all financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and filing taxes. The Bookkeeper also plays a key role in supporting the company's accounting and financial management functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Record all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payroll.
• Reconcile all accounts, including bank accounts, credit card accounts, and customer and vendor accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• File taxes, including GST/HST and payroll taxes.
• Assist the accountant with other accounting and financial management tasks, such as budgeting and forecasting.
