Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, including Dosas, Uttapams, Vadais, Idlis, and various delights, while ensuring adherence to recipes and maintaining consistent taste and quality.

- Regularly check South Indian dishes for taste, texture, and presentation to meet set standards, and make changes if needed.

- Select fresh, top-quality ingredients for South Indian recipes, maintain stock levels, and monitor and manage costs.

- Provide assistance to kitchen staff as needed, emphasizing the importance of proper cooking techniques, portion control, and presentation to ensure consistent quality across all dishes.

- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, reduce food waste, and follow health and safety rules for a safe and hygienic environment.

- Collaborate with management to streamline kitchen operations, ensure seamless service, and address any operational issues.

Qualifications:

- Degree, certificate or diploma not required.

- 1 year to less than 2 years experience preparing South Indian dishes.

- In-depth knowledge of South Indian spices and cooking techniques

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

- Strong teamwork skills
