We are currently looking for experienced Carpenters to join our team.

Position Details

Position: Carpenter

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $30.50 per hour

Start date: As soon as possible

Work locations: Surrey BC and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding

Job duties

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials

• Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.

• Work on new projects, remodels or additions to existing wooden structures.

• Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls and install partitions.

• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.

• Supervise other construction workers.

Job Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School

• Completion of an apprenticeship program in relevant trade or Minimum 3 years of experience in the trade is required.

• Ability to communicate in English

• Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1000.00 for qualified candidates.
